About Us

To effect meaningful change we have assembled a vibrant and diverse coalition of San Francisco leaders willing to collaborate to identify available parcels for deployment, secure public funds to implement this program, and the even greater challenge of educating and inspiring San Franciscans to welcome our unhoused neighbors into our communities.

Our Mission

To unify our community voices into action that leads to the creation of 2,000 modular temporary housing units throughout all of San Francisco’s neighborhoods.

Our Vision

A San Francisco where our unhoused neighbors have the shelter and support to transition to permanent solutions for their unmet needs.

Our Values

Empathy

We have compassion for people who don’t have access to the right housing and resources to meet their needs.

Action & Accountability

We can no longer stand by and do nothing. Government and the nonprofit community simply cannot achieve this alone and it will take a movement of the public to bring about and demand tangible change. We want to take bold steps and implement solutions.

Community

This problem is a problem for all of us. We believe in working together toward solutions rather than pointing fingers and casting blame.

About the Solution

Only once people are safely off the streets with a shelter of their own can they get the additional assistance they need. Permanent housing is far less likely without temporary housing, so the crisis and number of people without homes grow. Temporary modular housing is faster and cheaper to build. We need community support to find locations and generate momentum.
